Packing the Box
Loose hard drives will rattle around the box during shipping and possibly damage it. While the Baby Blue Hard Drive Box doesn’t typically need paper or packing material stuffed into any empty spaces to secure the contents, during shipping, it won’t hurt. Better safe than sorry!
After the hard drives are packed, securely tape the box shut and either deliver to or schedule a pickup with the post office.
Shipping to Big Blue Barrel
When the box is filled, securely tape it shut and drop it at your nearest USPS post office or schedule a pickup at your home of business by visiting USPS Schedule a Pickup.
If you want to track the shipping progress of the package immediately, then the certified mail and the return receipts must be scanned. The letter carrier will not automatically scan the Baby Blue Box during a scheduled pickup. Taking the Baby Blue Box to the post office and asking a clerk to scan is the best way to guarantee it is entered into the tracking system. However, once the Baby Blue Box enters the mail system, the labels will be scanned, allowing its tracking online at USPS.com.
